This privacy policy statement (“Policy”) sets out how we, Action Point Co., Ltd., collect, use and protect any Personal Information that you give to us when you use our website. Action Point is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. We may ask you to provide certain information when using this website or onsite on one of our programs by which you can be identified. We collect, process, and use your information in order to provide the services you request from us. This includes providing information to help you make an informed decision on which program is best for you to experience and processing your reservations and payments. We process Personal Information by electronic and automatic means; however, Personal Information may also be processed in paper form. Refusal to provide Personal Information may affect our ability to service your requests, confirm your stay at our resort, or provide you with information about Action Point and the experience that we offer. With your consent, we may also use the Personal Information that you provide to send you promotional and marketing material about Action Point via email. Unless we are required by the law, court order, or by any government or law enforcement authority, we do not provide your Personal Information or the Additional Information that you may provide to us through this website to any third-party. All of your Personal Information is securely stored at our main Action Point branch in Phuket, Thailand, and we do not transfer your Personal Information internationally.



As part of the inquiry process, we allow you to choose whether you wish to receive advertisements, updates, promotions and other information about Action Point from time to time. We hope you will find these communications interesting and relevant as it is not our intent to simply provide you with information but to share knowledge and ideas we consider of value to your health or next wellness vacation.

We will only send you this information if you chose to opt-in by clicking the respective box giving us consent to deliver our periodic mailings to your email address. If you chose not to opt-in to receive these communications, we will not send them to you. Even if you selected to opt-in to our communications you will have an opportunity to unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link contained in our newsletters and other communications.



We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have put in place industry-standard managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online and onsite.

We will delete Personal Information when it is no longer needed and, in any case, upon expiration of the maximum storage term set forth by Applicable Law.



You may request details of Personal Information that we hold about you by writing an email to [email protected]. We will provide the information to you in a readable electronic-format free of charge and within ten (10) business days of receiving your request. An administrative fee may apply to those requests that are deemed to be excessive or repetitive.



Our website features image links from social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. These “Share” buttons are embedded in a disabled form, meaning that there is no direct contact between our server and the servers of the respective social networks. Only when you click the “Share” button, will a new window open in which you must log on to the selected social network. The selected page can then be recommended or shared. At no time is any data transmitted from our website to the respective operator of the social network without you initiating and accepting such transmission.



Our website features hyperlinks to websites belonging to (and operated by) other providers. After clicking these links, you will be redirected from our website to the third-party website. We are not responsible for how these companies handle your data. Please visit the websites of the respective 3rd party company directly for additional information.



Our website uses Google Maps on some sub-pages to display maps and to create travel directions and instructions for you to arrive at our resort. Google Maps is a map service from Google, Inc. The use of Google Maps may result in information about the use of our website, including your IP address and your starting address you have indicated within the scope of the driving direction/route planner function, being transmitted to Google in the United States of America. If you open a page that contains Google Maps, your browser establishes a direct connection with Google’s server. The map content is delivered by Google directly to your browser and integrated by your browser into our website. Therefore, we have no influence on the amount of data collected by Google in this way. If you do not want Google to collect your information, you can deactivate JavaScript in your setting options; however, if you do this, you will not be able to use the map function.

We use embedded YouTube videos in the extended data protection mode. YouTube is a service from Google Inc. YouTube makes this extended data protection mode available and thus ensures that YouTube saves no cookies with personal data on your computer. When calling up the website and to embed the video, the IP address is transferred. This address cannot be correlated, provided you have not logged into YouTube or another Google service prior to calling up the site or if you are permanently logged in to Google. As soon as you start playing an embedded video by clicking Start, the extended data protection mode means that YouTube only saves cookies on your computer that contain no personally identifiable data. These cookies can be prevented with the relevant browser settings and extensions.



This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. Google Analytics uses cookies to help us and Google analyze how visitors utilize our website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of our website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on its servers. Google may transfer the information that Google Analytics collects to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate setting on your browser; however, please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of our website.



We do not expect to make significant changes to this Policy, but if we do so in a material way, we will post the changes to our website and notify you in writing and via the email address that you provide to us thirty days (30 days) before such changes to this Policy take effect; changes that are not material will only be posted to the website thirty days (30 days) before taking effect. If any proposed change is unacceptable to you, you may request us to remove your Personal Information from our records by writing an email to the email address noted in the section of this Policy titled “Controlling Personal Information.”
